So here's how I stared my day. I woke up at 10.03am on the dot, I lay in bed for a little while and pondered how the morning would go. I went downstairs, are a banana and drank a glass of milk, then I finished that episode of the vampire diaries that I had fallen asleep during yesterday. After that I went to the bathroom to start my skin care ritual. I start off with my apricot skin scrub, and I rub that all over my face. Not only does it clear the skin of blackheads and potential spots, but it leaves the skin feeling cleansed and smooth. After that I went for a shower, washed my hair (twice) and shaved my armpits, legs and bikini. (We have a wedding tomorrow, so I'm getting prepared.) After my shower, I towel myself dry and head back into my bedroom, to spray my tea tree oil on my face (it's usually rose oil, but I'm out if that at the moment.) This clears my skin of any and all toxins and gives it protection for 24 hours. I put on clean underwear then I moisturise. I usually use cocoa butter, but as it is a special occasion tomorrow, I use my Ted Baker lotion, putting it everywhere but my face and the inside of my arms. I use a different cream for those parts, and that cream is Aveeno cream. I'm prone to eczema and dry skin in those areas, so I use a soothing lotion to prevent any nasty occurrences. I put tresemme heat protect spray in my hair, then leave it to air dry (I try to avoid any extra damage to my hair, by not using a hairdryer I can avoid frequent split ends.)
I haven't yet started on my make up, so that's for a different blog post.
Here is a list of the products I have used in my regime:
- St. Ives apricot facial scrub
- Lush tea tree oil
- Ted Baker London body lotion
- Aveeno cream
- Tresemme heat protection spray
I hope you found this useful, I will be trying to post daily but I think my obsession is going to make it a lot more than that. If you find my ramblings amusing, please press the follow Hutton, and I will most certainly follow you back.
